Crabbing was very steady again yesterday. Most people had 5 dozen or more catches in a few hours. They are out there again this morning filling their buckets up. I haven’t heard much from the beach so far this morning. When i do ill keep everyone posted. Scott

Dock Report

Crabbing from the Dock has been excellent with 3 different people scoring a 5 gallon bucket full of keepers in a short time yesterday. Over the weekend the rental boats also had good catches of blueclaws. Overall a great early start to the season…

Fishing Report

Yesterdays fishing was consistent with what has been happening. The kayak boys had a early quick bite off Ortley beach area with a 37 lb and a 34 lb bass coming across our scale. The surf gave up some nice keepers both on clams and bunker chunks, with a 8.5 lb blue fish coming out of Island Beach state park on bunker. The bay is giving up some nice 2-3 lb blue fish and the blue claw crabs are starting to show up in the pots. John Yac

A great morning of bass fishing on the boats and kayaks. Ibsp to ortley beach lit up this morning. Mulitple bass over 40lbs were caught. Snag and drop was the way to go. Scott

Fishing Report

Memorial Day weekend once again is proving to be a great time to be at the Jersey Shore both fishing or just enjoying the beach. The crabs both off our dock and from our boats are more than cooperating. Schools of 2-3 lb blue fish are prowling the bay taking poppers on the surface. As for the surf, the pick of keeper bass continues with a real nice fish coming up now and again. But most of all don’t forget about the men and women  who made the ultimate sacrifice that made this all possible to enjoy today… John Yac

Crabbing and fishing Report

Crabbing from the Dock and rental boats is very good this morning.. One customer on the Dock is still crabbing with 36 keepers… Two of our rental boats also came back in with a full bucket of crabs each… Bluefish finally showed in decent numbers west of the BB buoy last evening…

Fishing Report

Fishing for those willing to break out the rain gear showed some action yesterday on both bait and metal. Some nice keeper bass and some small blues came out of Island Beach State Park. The conditions today should be not as bad as yesterday, so no excuses give it a try… John Yac

Fishing Report

Good day to hit the beach!…. overcast sky’s…. wind in your face…. and of course no crowds. All you need is your rain gear for the light rain now and again and some fresh bait and you should be in business. As far as the bay by us, some nice keeper crabs came in this weekend off our boats and dock. Blue fish are chasing schools of bunker and a couple were taken from our boats fishing bunker chunks. John Yac

Bluefish and crabs is the story over here! Both are being caught on our pier and the rental boats. Mark Stewart landed a 8lber on a bunker chunk out on one of the rental boats. Another guy crabbing went home with 3 dozen keeper crabs in just a few hours.
