Still large schools of both full size and peanut size bunker present up and down the coast. Looks like the fall run still has plenty of steam left. SP minnows and thin metals are still picking fish also… John Yac

Fishing Report

A extra layer or two will be in order today! This is our first real taste of things to come. But despite the chill, there is still some quality fish roaming our surf line. Clams and cut bunker is still the bait way to go. While the artificial selections have moved to the slimmer baits, Ava and needle fish styles are getting the job done. Remember we still have live eels for you trophy hunters. We will be announcing our HOT Black Friday Sales tomorrow so be sure to check out our fishing report… John Yac

SAND EELS?? Sure starting to look that way. Some nice fish were taken on Ava and needle fish style baits the past two days. This usually signals sand eels are present. Birds diving on schools of bait with no visual water disturbance is another sign. If all this is true the bass bite should extend into December this year, wouldn’t that be nice! Meanwhile clams and cut bunker are still brining bass to the dinner table… John Yac

Fishing Report

East winds today will produce plenty of wave and white water conditions. The bait fishing surfcaster will find holding bottom a bit challenging and the plug caster will have to move to heavier lures that will cut into the wind. While the feeding bass and bluefish will be enjoying the turbulent conditions, finding ambushing their prey much easier. The bite has slowed down a bit over the last two days, while schools of bait remain present, so remember things can turn on a dime! We have green crabs for all you tog fisherman and live eels for you trophy hunters… John Yac

Fishing Report

Better weather will bring more weigh-ins today for sure! There is still plenty of bait in our area with a good amount of bass and blues hot on their heels. It has been a toss up between cut bunker and clams for the number one bait for big fish from the surf. SP Minnows remain the number one swimming plug with large metal lipped swimmers and Polaris style poppers coming in a close second. There is still plenty of time to cash in on this outstanding fall run!… John Yac

Fishing Report

The bite yesterday in our area was hot once again! Large bass and blues fell to cut bunker and clams. On the artificial side, swimmers, poppers, metals and rubber swim shads all were taking fish. With the wet weather forecasted for tomorrow todays bite could be another good one! One more thing you might want to add to your bag of tricks is a rod rigged for snagging peanut bunker. These peanuts have been showing up in the wash with large bass and blues hot on their trails… John Yac

Fishing Report

To say the bass fishing this fall has been fantastic, is putting it mildly. The passed couple of days proved to be banner days for boat and beach fisherman alike. Weigh-ins from teen fish to 30 lbs. plus kept anglers busy. Bait, plugs, and metals all seem to be working. Add to that trolling large bunker spoons and Mann’s stretch 25+ plugs… John Yac
